Art Tee

They are souvenir t-shirts from some museum or gallery, one of my favorites from my collection is a portrait of Andy Warhol in red for the Andy Warhol Museum from 1997.

But in this case (Los Angeles de la Madonna Sistina by Raphael) it was made by Art Tops which was used for merch for stores like @casaserra or for popular bookstores.

rap tee

In the case of rap tees, they are known to be hip hop culture shirts.

There are many official t-shirts of rappers and artists from the 90's, although due to the design of this type of t-shirt they are not as recognized as the bootleg ones.

The "bootleg" (pirates, unofficial) are the most recognized for their style, design and typography which were sold outside concerts or in stalls by independent people.

These two could be considered for the typography, the colors and the style of the shirt.

Many collectors do not consider it; Although others do, since if you compare them with any Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Wutang or other bootlegs they are very similar.

All Over Print

You can find this style of shirts on many topics from music, art or culture.

But in general they are shirts with the full print on the entire shirt from the neck to the sleeves.

There are many styles of this type of shirt, the one you see below is an official Def Leppard 1992 All Over Print by Giant.

But you can also find megaprints, jumboprints and other variations.

raglan tee

They are the famous raglan shirts known for being baseball shirts, although if we talk about rock shirts, these are usually the rarest and most sought after by collectors.

This is an official 1988 Metallica by Pushhead known to be the Doris.

If you want to find more examples of this type of shirts, look for the Rolling Stones, Doors, Iron Maiden or Metallica.

tie dye

You probably already know that type of shirts that are dyed in various colors, they began to be used since the 60s or 70s.

The shirt you see below is a tie dye variation with a print made by Liquid Blue in 1992.

If you want to know more about this type of shirts, there is a short documentary that you can look for as:
“Social Fabric S1 E2”.

Cartoon Tee

These are one of my favorites; They can be from your favorite show, video game, cartoon or anime.

The best known are from Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, MTv, Nintendo and many more, you can find any show or program you can imagine.
